 The fact that he fears nothing or fear won't stop him (Bishop Digne) is amazing because many people and people today still have trouble with fear even I have trouble. I like that there isn't much training to the Bishops anti-fear it's just as simple as believing in God. Also, that Madam Bapstine and Magloire don't need to speak to know what he is saying or asking goes to show that they know him very well and have been with for quite some time. Even though they stress over him the start to realize they shouldn't be they know that the Bishop is a good man that helps people in need.

 The fact that someone tried to talk to the Bishop like there was no God, but the person sort seemed like he wanted to be God. So if there isn't a God then there isn't a way to become God. Also, the person just doesn't want to take responsibility he wants to be himself and justifies it by being a mere human. Though I liked how the Bishop handled the situation even though the guy was just talking badly of the Bishop's beliefs.

 The bishop former self had a different character than the one he has right now. He was very different and time changed him into the bishop and more towards the right way to live. I can't believe the bishop is 75 years old.
